Honeywell M7284A1004
The Honeywell Modutrol IV Motor Non-Spring Return model features a torque rating of 150 in-lb. and operates on 120V with 15 VA power consumption. A key attribute of this device is its modulating control, transmitted via a 4-20 mA control signal. To further enhance the robustness of operations, this product includes a transformer.
Designed to provide optimum protection, this motor incorporates an integral junction box to offer NEMA 3 weather protection when mounted upright. There is great flexibility, with certain models offering an adjustable start point and span. Each motor is designed to function with either normally open or normally closed valves and dampers.
The device’s motor and circuitry operate from 24 VAC. Moreover, in the event of a power outage, an integral spring efficiently returns the motor to its normal position. As standard, the motor is equipped with quick-connect terminals, with a screw terminal adapter being readily available.
Another desirable feature is the availability of an adapter bracket to match the shaft height of older motors. Furthermore, the motor's stroke is field adjustable, ranging from 90 to 160 degrees. Additional options include factory-mounted or field added integral auxiliary switches.
All models are equipped with dual shafts that are both slotted and tapped on both ends, auxiliary switch cams, and a consistent torque throughout the entire voltage range. The device is designed with durable die-cast aluminum housing, foot mount, and is suitable for operating conditions from -40 F to 150 F. However, feedback option is not included in this model. The motor operates within a timing range of 30-60 seconds, providing smooth and efficient control.
