Honeywell CVL4022AS-VAV1
The Honeywell Stryker is an 8 IO configurable controller designed specifically for variable air volume (VAV) applications. It comes equipped with a built-in actuator, real-time clock, and Sylk Bus, to accommodate Sylk-enabled sensors. The actuator is designed to mount directly onto the damper shaft of a VAV box and delivers up to 44 in-lb of torque with a 90-degree stroke and 90-second timing at 60 Hz.
The controller operates on the Echelon LonWorks network protocol and is capable of standalone operation, although it can also connect to a LonWorks bus network for enhanced communication. It is field-configurable for various control, input, and output functions, enabled by the utilization of Honeywell's NIAGARA FRAMEWORK® software.
It includes an array of built-in zone control functions such as a remote wall module interface and a scheduler. In addition, it incorporates a microbridge air flow sensor with a dual integral restrictor design to provide easy user access to air flow sensor inputs.
The housing of both the controller and actuator has received UL Plenum ratings. Furthermore, all wiring connections to the controller are made via removable terminal blocks to expedite installation and replacement.
This controller operates at a power voltage of 24 VAC, capable of ranging between 20 to 30 VAC, and withstands an operating temperature from 0 to 50 C (32 to 122 F). The device also fulfills the UL/cUL (E87741) listed under UL916 standards for open energy management equipment and meets FCC Part 15, Subpart B, Class B requirements for radiated emissions. The Stryker utilizes a FTT-10A LON model and normally fastens to a damper shaft.
